After an initial conversation with your company, Katz & Mouse will be better able to assess your timeline, budget, and project requirements. Upon acceptance of the Website Proposal, Katz & Mouse will send a Web Agreement and begin preparations for Stage 1.

Search Engine Optimization

After site launch, Katz & Mouse submits your site to be listed in major search engines. Due to high traffic volume, listing in search engines can take months before a new site is noticed. Katz & Mouse understands the desire to be number one in the search engines, and while we cannot guarantee a high ranking, we can offer suggestions to possibly increase your ranking.

Choose Your Keywords Wisely
What words would potential customers type into a search engine to find your site? Use these words in the body content of your web site as well as in the META tag information in your source code.

Register Your Site Often
Registering your site with search engines is a time-consuming task. It is best to register your site by hand so that you can specify the category your site needs to be included. Don't just focus on the major search engines, there are many smaller directories that specialize in specific areas that are more willing to list your site before a major search engine.

Linking Your Site to Another Site
Many search engines choose to list a web site due to its linking popularity. Find sites that complement your web site and offer a free link to their web site in exchange for linking to your web site. Links not only have the benefit of potentially delivering a new customer from another web site, but the possibility of increasing your search engine ranking.
