Shocked by the price of
features your site needs to be successful?
Katz & Mouse has pre-built solutions for today's most
common needs. These solutions run on our server, no need to
worry about installing complicated and confusing
applications.
Katz & Mouse can also tailor our pre-built solutions to
match your demanding needs. Our modular solutions allow us
to effectively and inexpensively add and remove features.
Custom solutions may be hosted on our servers or directly
from your existing servers.
The following steps outline our programming process at Katz
& Mouse from initial program design to launch.
FIRST THINGS FIRST
Katz & Mouse encourages our clients to answer the
following questions:
1. Who will be
using this application?
2. What do you want to accomplish with this application?
3. What do you want your users to accomplish with this
application?
After an initial
conversation with your company, Katz & Mouse will be better
able to assess your timeline, budget, and project
requirements. A Web Application Proposal with a cost
estimate, list of deliverables and project timeline will be
sent to you via email. Upon acceptance of the Web
Application Proposal, Katz & Mouse will send a Web
Agreement and begin preparations for Stage 1.
STAGE 1
PROGRAM DESIGN
After the Web Agreement is signed, the Initial Design
begins. Katz & Mouse uses a client-centered process to
develop an Application Outline detailing input, process and
output of the application.
STAGE 2
PROGRAMMING
After client sign off on the final design, the programming
begins. During this stage, Katz & Mouse delivers fully
operational components of the application for client review
and signoff.
STAGE 3
BETA TESTING
Your application will be thoroughly tested by the Katz &
Mouse Testing Team. A complete test plan will be created
including each test scenario. Bugs are tracked using Katz
& Mouse's Bug Reporting Tool and are resolved with full
documentation.
STAGE 4
APPLICATION LAUNCH
Launching a web application is different than the initial
launch of your web site. Web applications are most commonly
launched in modules over a period of time. Incremental
launches help determine if each module is functioning
properly and quickly isolates any problems.
